An insurance company, part of an international conglomerate, recognized as a leader in the Central and Eastern Europe insurance industry.


The client required an IT tool or system that would facilitate an agile, swift, and independent implementation cycle for their existing IT systems. The objective was to readily respond to current business changes, either by modifying or creating new data flows between IT systems.


In response to the client’s business process optimization program, there was a need for a tool that could support both business and IT in implementing and optimizing new business processes. The tool was expected to enable ongoing, agile changes, independent of the implementation cycle and release of existing IT systems.

After analyzing the requirements, it was decided to implement a Business Process Management (BPM) platform with a Decision Model and Notation (DMN) module and integrate it with the existing IT systems in the area of claims management.


Finture provided a proprietary solution in the form of a BPM class tool, enabling agile process design, decision rules, their versioning, and integration with the client’s domain systems.

By integrating with the client’s existing IT systems, such as the call center, claims management, and policy systems, and employing the platform’s functionality for integration via built-in universal connectors, the process optimization occurred outside of the legacy systems. This alignment met the project’s original objectives.
